Arctera: Easy as One, Two, Three

They say good things come in threes – and we certainly believe that. We’ve brought together three industry-leading businesses to create a new powerhouse in data management, that we’re launching today. Welcome to Arctera!

More than a year of hard work and planning has come to fruition as we form a new company around the Data Compliance, InfoScale and BackupExec businesses that were formerly a part of Veritas Technologies.

These three businesses have delivered decades of innovation as market-leading products embedded in the Veritas portfolio. But, from today, they’ll be taking center stage as the heroes of their own stories.

We’ve worked backwards from our customers’ needs to shape our new organization, doing business with Arctera will be as easy as one, two, three!

Each will run as its own business unit and will have dedicated customer and engineering teams focused on delivering tailored solutions for the most demanding data challenges of our customers.

Let me share more about our three business lines:

1. Arctera Data Compliance simplifies complex data compliance tasks, with AI-powered information governance, eDiscovery, and digital communications surveillance, with flexible deployment options for both on-premises and cloud.
2. Arctera Data Resilience streamlines mission-critical application availability, providing real-time cyber resiliency for the full application stack, ensuring not just data, but also infrastructure and data services are rapidly recoverable, at scale, wherever they are deployed.
3. Arctera Data Protection delivers industrial strength secure, reliable, and accessible data protection that’s simple to deploy and easy to manage

The world’s biggest enterprises rely on these solutions today. Tens of thousands of organizations, including 70% of the Fortune 100, are Arctera customers on Day One of our launch.

Behind Arctera is a seasoned leadership team with a clear vision for the future, and a passion for building something new. Together, they will be leading a team of over 1,500 Arcterans globally, all with a singular focus on delivering the best in data management.
